Enzo Alessio, born in 1958, is full professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Trieste. He is (co)author of ca. 200 publications, including reviews and book chapters, in the fields of coordination and organometallic chemistry, homogeneous catalysis, supramolecular chemistry, and anticancer metal compounds. He has an index = 59, with more than 11700 citations (Scopus, Jan 2023). Since 2020 he is included in the global ranking list of top 100,000 scientists across all fields according to the composite citation index, as published yearly on Plos Biology.
